About the Author

Hi… my name is Rosalind Green. I’m a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. I enjoy good books that help me improve my state of being, I like to bowl, and I love curling up in my recliner with my favorite old robe, a good wholesome movie and a bag of half-burnt micro-wave popcorn…

My friends laugh when they watch this video now. Is that how corporate use to have to dress?

Yup! The hair, the make-up, the clothes… I know, I know… but I’m a Boomer, and when it came to business, that’s how we use to do it! What can I say… old habits are hard to break.

This me now… I’m still the same person on the inside, but it’s so funny how things can change when you’re able to  relax a little… :-)

Spending years in upper management in the corporate world, I discovered that that was not something I wanted to do for the rest of my life, so I chose to take early retirement to pursue a career in network marketing. I was extremely successful there as well. That is… until the company made some changes or shall we say… “enhancements” that changed everything. In my case, not for the better. I ended up losing everything I had built within six months… (most of my team members didn’t like the changes, so they quit.)

To keep a long story short, because I didn’t mange the money I made properly, I ended up flat broke and unable to pay my bills. It was my own fault, and I realized that, but I was faced with three options.

1) Go back to corporate (not an option in my book…)
2) Start over and build another network marketing business (questionable at the time…)
3) Do something totally different that I could enjoy and make money too (I hit the jackpot!!)

It took a lot of bumps in the road and a lot of decisions to make… but I finally landed as a professional blogger. Now, don’t laugh… unless you’re laughing with me… all the way to the bank.

Oddly enough, when I first started blogging, I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a career blogger. I just started out doing what I enjoyed… then I learned how to turn blogging into income, and the rest is history. You’ll find out how in future posts on this blog.

Because of today’s economy, I realized very early in my new blogging career that there were many, many people… (a lot of them I knew personally) who were in the same predicament that I was… needing a way to make ends meet. Some had lost jobs, some had been in the mlm business with me, some were just ‘down on their luck’.

So, I decided to take what I had a passion for (blogging for fun) and turn it into my means of income (blogging for money). It was the best decision I could have made. I enjoy what I do and I enjoy writing to help other people do the same. Its a win-win for everyone!

I have actually written another blog that’s all about my personal journey to this place. Its a simple blog that allows me to journal the major principles that I was raised on… the principles that gave me the mindset to be successful… no matter what. Not just turning lemons into lemonade… but really, really good Southern Style Lemonade!!!!

I love to help people get started in business, especially with blogs. Got questions? Click this link to see how my journey of becoming a successful blogger all got started…
